Google Challenging Wireless Rules

Google appears to be prepared to take on the telecommunications giants AT&T and Verizon during the next FCC wireless spectrum auction. The “do no evil” Google reportedly wants to “open” wireless networks and invite third party providers to lease spectrum. Google executives claim this move will increase innovation and lower consumer prices.
Here’s hoping the folks at the FCC get the point. I’m tired of paying three times more than appropriate for access to propriatary networks with limited devices.
