Google Challenging Wireless Rules
Friday, July 20th, 2007Google appears to be prepared to take on the telecommunications giants AT&T and Verizon during the next FCC wireless spectrum auction. The “do no evil” Google reportedly wants to “open” wireless networks and invite third party providers to lease spectrum. Google executives claim this move will increase innovation and lower consumer prices.
